Barry Robinson has the background and pedigree that is the envy of many of his counterparts in the entertainment industry. As an honors graduate of the Grove School of Music, Los Angeles, in addition to achieving distinction in his Business Studies Diploma he is well placed to bring together creative flair with business acumen.
As a Musical Director he has worked at the highest level with some of the biggest names in show business. During his tenure as Musical Director at the Sporting Club Monte Carlo he shared the stage with the likes of Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Kool & The Gang and the great Sammy Davis Jnr.
He has toured extensively with various groups, including The Temptations, Three Degrees, Supremes, Odyssey and Rose Royce. His many television credits include the Prince’s Trust Concert, Variety Club Awards, Indie Awards, Olivier Awards, Children in Need, Good Food Awards, The 5’Oclock Show and The Big Stage. He also composed and arranged the theme music for the Midas Touch for Carlton Television. His West End credits include “Fame “Smokey Joe’s CafÈ” “Saturday Night Fever” The Rat Pack” and “The Genius Of Ray Charles”.
With the growth of BR Music Productions he is now bringing this wealth of experience and expertise to producing shows of his own.
Outside of his professional life Barry, who lives in Hertfordshire, likes to keep-fit, is an avid Manchester City supporter (shows depth of character!!!!) and enjoys playing football, tennis and golf.
