Kele Le Roc

Kele was born to Jamaican parents in London’s East End. She started singing when she was only 3 and had a huge underground hit in 1995 with ‘Let Me Know’. Her album, ‘Everybody’s Somebody’ was released in the UK in March 1999. This was a collaboration of her own writing skills and major producers such as Rhett Lawrence (Mariah Carey, Monica) and Harvey Mason (Brandy and Chante Moore), which insured 8th Slot on the National Album Sales Chart and established her as one of the UK’s foremost vocalists with the very memorable hits, ‘My Love’ and ‘Little Bit of Lovin’. Her reputation led to many collaboration and hits throughout the years with such artists and producers as Basement JAX, Damage, Kurtis Lynch Jr and Red Rat, OMAR, Courtney Pine, Shy FX, VIBETRIBE, Avi Geller, The Characters, Gordan Chambers, Coolio and Gerard Baker.

Now in New York, Kele is working on her new album for 2008 which promises to have a great impact. Her new songs concentrate on the positive messages and the fun aspects of life, fusing styles of R&B and Soul with the distinct influence of Prince. Already creating a great buzz through the grapevine, Kele is appearing in select venues to test out her new material.
